As Campaign and Media Director, you'll shape how the nation hears the Afghanistan War Commission's findings on two decades of U.S. decisions in Afghanistan, leading a high-profile campaign from launch through the release of the Commission's final report to Congress.
The Campaign and Media Director leads the full range of strategic communications, public engagement, digital, content, event, media monitoring, and data visualization support for the Afghanistan War Commission. The Director helps the Commission reach the media, key stakeholders, and the public, with emphasis on the rollout of the Commission's final report to Congress. The Director works collaboratively with Commission staff to ensure all work products meet the needs of the Commission, Commissioners, and staff.

Work Schedule and Location:
Remote: This part-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, with approximately 20 hours a week, with an expected increase in Summer 2027. Travel may be required for meetings, conferences, and rollout events.
