Overview

Join our team as a Quality Manager and support U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by leading quality control operations at the National Records Center. You will lead a team of quality auditors and trainers and monitor compliance with government regulations, ensure the highest standards of accuracy across records processing.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the National Records Center in Lee's Summit, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all quality assurance activities within assigned task areas at the NRC and NRC Extension Site-1 (ES-1)
  • Manage and lead a team of quality auditors and tutors
  • Prepare and monitor internal procedures for compliance with Government regulations and policy
  • Coordinate operational and administrative quality actions with Government oversight staff
  • Conduct audits and report quality findings and corrective actions
  • Support training and continuous quality improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in program management, business or public administration, production/operations/manufacturing/quality management, technical management, information systems, engineering, or finance/accounting (no substitution accepted for this role)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing quality control operations
  • Must possess, or obtain within 180 days of contract award, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Must be able to pass a federal suitability/background investigation

Desired:

  • Prior experience leading quality auditors/trainers in a records or document-intensive environment
  • Experience coordinating quality actions with Government oversight staff
