Overview

Join our team as an Operations Manager and support U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by overseeing daily records operations at the National Records Center. You will manage onsite staff, monitor customer satisfaction, and implement operational procedures, ensure efficient, accurate, and timely records processing.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the National Records Center in Lee's Summit, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations at the NRC and NRC Extension Site-1 (ES-1), and serve as backup to the Program Manager in their absence
  • Address operational concerns and issues and monitor overall customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies
  • Analyze training needs and coordinate staff development
  • Present oral briefings and written reports to Government oversight personnel
  • Draft and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Respond to time-sensitive issues and demonstrate sound decision-making under pressure
  • Coordinate project activities with contractor and Government representatives

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in program management, business or public administration, production/operations/manufacturing/quality management, technical management, information systems, engineering, or finance/accounting — OR an active PMP certification in lieu of the degree
  • Minimum 3 years of project/operations/site/production management experience within the last 5 years
  • Must possess, or obtain within 180 days of contract award, a Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Must be able to pass a federal suitability/background investigation
