Overview

Join our team as a Program Analyst and support the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), Industry & Analysis (I&A) unit by providing analytical and consultative services across the full program lifecycle. You will analyze budgets, schedules, and program risks, support requirements analysis and system testing, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership, ensuring programs stay on track and well-informed decisions get made.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the Herbert C. Hoover building in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and consultative support across all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements analysis through implementation
  • Analyze and review program budget, schedule, and resource data to help ensure project success
  • Identify resource shortfalls, risks, and issues, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Participate in requirements analysis sessions and review business/system requirements for integration needs
  • Conduct research, review test results, and monitor system testing to develop recommendations for leadership
  • Develop and present reports detailing findings, risks, and proposed solutions
  • Evaluate process alternatives and recommend efficiencies to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in program analysis and project support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience in federal programs

Desired: 

  • Experience supporting international trade, economic, or industry analysis programs
  • Experience with requirements analysis, software design, or system/performance testing
  • Experience briefing findings and recommendations to federal program leadership
