Overview

Join our team as a Project Manager supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Directorate of International Affairs and Foreign Policy Advisor (DCO-I), you are the single point of contact to the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and the person accountable for everything the contractor team delivers. You will lead a multi-discipline team providing administrative, technical, and financial support to the directorate's international-affairs mission — running the cadence, owning the deliverables, and being the face of the work to the government.

Work Schedule and Location:On-Site:

This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own all work delivered on the contract, serving as the primary point of contact for the government's Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team of roughly nine specialists across four mission areas: technical/administrative support, passport administration, international training, and financial analysis
  • Direct the international training team — the largest part of the effort — supporting USCG security cooperation and security assistance programs (Foreign Military Sales/Financing, MSI, INL), international military student quota management, and Mobile Training Teams
  • Oversee passport administration (special-issuance passports and visas for official travelers, and support to the Passport Application Acceptance Facility program) and technical/administrative support for the directorate's OCONUS personnel
  • Oversee financial analysis support, including formulation, execution, reporting, and reconciliation of reimbursable program funds
  • Prepare and submit monthly status reports covering progress, schedule, travel, and recommendations
  • Meet with the COR every two weeks to review progress and resolve emerging issues
  • Keep the team aligned with USCG rules, safety practices, and professional standards

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing multi-discipline teams in support of Government contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
