Overview

FWI is building a team to deliver professional and administrative support services for the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) in Washington, DC. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be the operational anchor for CSOSA's space management and property logistics needs — planning and overseeing agency moves, managing excess property inventories, preparing work orders and cost estimates, and monitoring contractor performance for moving, storage, and shredding services, all while keeping CSOSA's facilities and assets organized, accounted for, and mission-ready.

Work Schedule and Location:


On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, initiate, execute, and oversee moves within the agency; maintain records and logs of moves and modifications
  • Prepare work orders, statements of work, and other documents to obtain materials, labor, equipment, and funding for property management requirements
  • Monitor performance of CSOSA contracts for logistic services such as moving/storage and shredding, including maintaining storage records, scheduling moves, and reviewing invoices
  • Assist with physical inventories of CSOSA equipment and disposition of excess CSOSA property

 

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Minimum 4 years of experience performing logistic-type services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and personal computers
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Desired:

  • Logistical support experience with a federal agency

 

Physical requirements:

  • Position Requires walking for extended periods at multiple CSOSA locations with multiple floors at each location.
  • Periodic bending and lifting of some items (50 lbs or less) is occasionally required.
