Overview

FWI is building a team to deliver STEM outreach support services for the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Next-Gen Outreach Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. As the Audio Visual and Web Development Specialist, you will create and produce the multimedia content and digital platforms that bring AFRL's STEM outreach mission to life — from interactive websites and virtual reality experiences to high-definition video productions and graphic design materials distributed to students, educators, and the public.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Create websites, web-enabled databases, photography, videography, printed materials, video marketing materials, and computer animation
  • Design graphic briefing materials, digital presentations, signs, displays, illustrations, brochures, and photographic prints
  • Produce outreach video products, news releases, feature packages, and educational sizzle reels in HD 1080P or better
  • Develop scripts, conduct interviews, capture b-roll, and edit final video products (1–60 minutes)
  • Upload video content to social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Develop virtual reality educational interactive videos with Air Force-centric experiences
  • Create, develop, analyze, and update interactive educational websites for students, teachers, and parents
  • Develop web-enabled databases to collect and analyze data for STEM projects
  • Record broadcast-quality audio meeting established broadcast standards
  • Provide delivery service to transport materials to and from schools
  • Develop tools to track administrative procedures and improve program efficiency

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialized field (e.g., multimedia, communications, web development, graphic design)
  • Minimum 15 years of functional area experience
  • Proficiency in photography, videography, animation, and web/database development
  • Experience with social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter
