FWI is building a team to deliver STEM outreach support services for the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Next-Gen Outreach Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. As the Wizards of Wright! (WOW!) Project Manager, you will serve as the lead for one of AFRL's flagship K-12 engagement programs, bringing real STEM professionals into Miami Valley classrooms to deliver hands-on science demonstrations that inspire the next generation of innovators.

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio.

• Manage all aspects of the WOW! project, ensuring alignment with Ohio Curriculum Standards and National STEM Standards
• Develop and update classroom presentations based on educator and mission needs
• Recruit, train, and maintain a database of WOW! volunteer presenters
• Coordinate, schedule, and follow up on classroom presentation requests
• Assemble, track, and maintain WOW! classroom materials and equipment (e.g., wind tunnels, thermal cameras)
• Provide two teacher in-service workshops annually during summer

Required: 

• Bachelor's degree in a science field
• Minimum 3 years of functional area experience
• Active Ohio Teacher License required
