FWI is building a team to support the U.S. Department of Labor in advancing AI skills development through Registered Apprenticeship programs by expanding AI literacy across all industries, growing RA programs in AI-centric occupations, and strengthening the workforce pipeline for AI infrastructure. As the Senior Registered Apprenticeship SME, you will serve as the go-to technical expert helping employers and industry partners understand how AI is changing their workforce — and then build the apprenticeship programs, training standards, and career pathways to keep American workers ahead of the curve.
This role is grounded in Registered Apprenticeship expertise. The ideal candidate brings deep RA system knowledge and the ability to apply it to emerging AI workforce needs. Candidates with strong RA backgrounds and a demonstrated willingness to develop AI domain knowledge are encouraged to apply.
