Overview

FWI is building a team to provide Program Management Office (PMO) Support Services for the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), managing acquisition lifecycle activities for a Priority Defense Business System operating under DoDI 5000.75. As a Program Acquisition Manager, you will lead the acquisition support team in managing milestone reviews, compliance documentation, program reporting to OSD and Congress, and strategic planning activities that ensure the DAI program meets all federal and DoD acquisition requirements.

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This is a full-time remote position. Work is performed Monday through Friday during standard core business hours (6:00 AM – 5:30 PM ET). Occasional travel to Fort Belvoir, VA may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead acquisition support services including Milestone Decision Authority/Component Acquisition Executive decision support
  • Develop and assess acquisition strategies, risk management, and analysis of alternatives
  • Prepare, revise, and update required program lifecycle products and documents (Acquisition Strategies, Capability Implementation Plans, APBs, Business Case Analyses, Economic Analyses, etc.)
  • Support preparation for milestone reviews, Authority to Proceed decisions, IPT meetings, and OSD/OMB/GAO reviews
  • Ensure DLA compliance with Clinger-Cohen Act, DoDI 5000.75, and related federal/DoD acquisition regulations
  • Provide data visualization, dashboard maintenance, and metrics analysis support
  • Prepare acquisition reports for OSD and maintain acquisition-related documentation for RAM, IMS, and WBS
  • Support FITARA and Component CIO Risk Ratings and Analysis (quarterly)
  • Support records management including DIG processes, annual reviews, and quarterly DAI Newsletter

 

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • 5 years of experience in program management for ACAT and non-ACAT programs
  • Experience with the IT Acquisition lifecycle process and acquisition milestones
  • Experience managing, reviewing, and analyzing source and acquisition documentation
  • Must hold an active Secret clearance or equivalent Tier 3 (T3) background investigation.
