Overview

FWI is building a team to provide Program Management Office (PMO) Support Services for the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a Department of Defense Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program that has successfully migrated over 30 Defense Agencies and 80,000 users onto a common Oracle E-Business Suite financial management platform. As a Task Order Project Manager, you will provide overall management of scope, schedule, and resources across all task areas while serving as the primary liaison between FWI leadership and the DLA Government Contracting Officer, COR, and customer agency stakeholders.

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This part-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, within core government business hours of 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM ET, averaging approximately 12–13 hours per week (610–690 hours annually). This position is 100% remote; however, periodic travel to DLA Headquarters at Fort Belvoir, VA or the Washington, DC metropolitan area may be required for meetings and program reviews (up to 4 trips per year, approximately 5 days total). Extended hours and/or weekend support may occasionally be required based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present an executive overview within 7 calendar days of contract start demonstrating plans for scope, schedule, and resource management
  • Develop and maintain the Task Order Project Management Plan and staffing plan (updated quarterly)
  • Submit Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) to the COR by the 15th of each month covering work accomplished, task status, problems/delays, metrics, planned activities, personnel resources, training status, and funds expenditure
  • Develop and maintain the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Report
  • Provide monthly invoices by CLIN with contract rollup summaries
  • Provide monthly DoD 8570/8140 certification compliance reports
  • Develop and execute the Transition-In Plan within 5 days of task order award
  • Ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements are submitted for all contractor personnel within 5 business days of starting

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent nationally recognized certification)
  • 5 years of project management or relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in IT and/or consulting
  • 5 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in IT and/or consulting
  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA), or 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • An active Secret clearance or equivalent Tier 3 (T3) background investigation is required.
