The Public Buildings Service (PBS), Office of Acquisition Management (OAM), requires expertise to provide graphic design and multimedia services in support of major training and communications initiatives. The purpose of the position is to provide OAM with visually appealing graphics for trainings, reports, presentations, and infographics. This includes providing technical knowledge to develop digital graphics, select appropriate stock photography, videography, and motion graphics. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM ET.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and producing compelling and creative visual products in support of PBS training, policy rollouts, and communications campaigns
  • Providing technical knowledge and expertise in visual hierarchy, representing processes and concepts graphically, stock photography, infographics, and videography
  • Support for newsletters, training course materials, and program marketing including, but not limited to presentations, reports, and program materials for PBS-wide distribution
  • Multimedia services including photography, videography, animations, and eLearning visuals
  • Incorporating appropriate software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animations, text, and audio
  • Contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
  • Preparing and designing training slides, industry documents, and custom maps in Google Suite
  • Developing assets for and sending recurring electronic newsletters in GovDelivery
  • Composing visually appealing training course materials that comply with GSA Brand Guidelines
  • Coordinating and assimilating content with project owners and stakeholders in a collaborative workspace

Qualifications

Required: 

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing graphics, selecting photography, and providing video production support to government agencies.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite CC, Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva Pro, and Google Suite.
  • Ability to furnish a portfolio with at least three (3) samples and/or links to sample work.
  • Experience with Section 508 Compliance.
  • Must be able to pass a Federal Government Background check.
