FWI is building a team to support FEMA's Independent Study Program by managing and administering critical educational training services for emergency management professionals. As a Deputy Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager's leadership efforts, handle administrative tasks, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Independent Study Program's support services.

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the National Disaster & Emergency Management University in Emmitsburg, MD

• Support the Project Manager in all aspects of program management
• Manage administrative tasks and track project progress
• Assist in identifying and resolving project issues
• Provide customer support via telephone, email, and internet
• Work collaboratively with team members and government representatives

Required: 

• 3 years of experience in project management or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage tasks and provide courteous customer support
• Experienced in working collaboratively and supporting project leadership
