Overview

FWI is building a team to deliver a nationwide outreach and awareness campaign that strengthens the visibility and impact of Registered Apprenticeships. As the Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project execution—providing leadership, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet DOL standards.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

Work Schedule and Location:


On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday,8am to 5pm, at the Dept of Labor office in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and direction to project team
  • Interpret contracts and ensure successful performance
  • Establish schedules, assign responsibilities, monitor progress
  • Ensure deliverables meet content standards and deadlines
  • Prepare status reports for DOL leadership
  • Manage project budgets and resources
  • Travel within Continental United States may be required

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree OR 10 years relevant experience without degree
  • Experience in contract interpretation and ensuring compliance with work requirements
  • Proven leadership skills with team oversight capabilities
  • Strong project management experience including budget monitoring, schedule development, and deadline management
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for preparing deliverables and reports
  • Experience with analysis, evaluation, and implementation of projects/goals
  • Ability to prepare reports for senior management regarding project status
  • Public Trust clearance is required
