Overview

FWI is building a team to provide clerical, administrative, and professional services as well as data management, documents preparation, records management support services and electronic records management for the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). As a Project Manager, you will manage the contractor support team and oversee all contract operations involving multiple complex records management tasks while maintaining client interface at senior levels of GAO.

Work Schedule and Location:


On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday,8am to 5pm at the GAO Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks
  • Maintain and manage client interface at senior levels of the GAO organization
  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables
  • Ensure conformance with program task schedules and costs
  • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports showing project progress
  • Organize and delegate responsibilities to subordinates
  • Oversee successful completion of all assigned tasks
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and management of contractor personnel
  • Coordinate on-the-job training for new contractor personnel
  • Implement quality control measures for work performed

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in information or business discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in performing program and project management support services related to records management
  • Must respond to requests for discussion or resolution of technical problems within one hour of notification
  • Must acknowledge communications or other taskings within 24 hours of receipt
  • Requires active Secret security clearance
