Overview

FWI is building a team to develop, update, and deliver training courses and supplemental materials for the Federal Highway Administration's Operations, Freight, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Transportation Performance Management program areas. As a Program Manager, you will provide overall program management and oversight across multiple task orders, ensuring successful delivery of training development and instructional services to advance the state of practice in surface transportation.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with occasional travel to client sites and FHWA facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management and oversight for each task order under the IDIQ contract
  • Lead and supervise teams on multiple concurrent projects and task orders
  • Manage staff with various work assignments across training development and delivery efforts
  • Ensure qualified personnel are assigned to all required positions
  • Serve as primary liaison with Government staff, answering questions regarding the contract and task orders
  • Monitor contract compliance and ensure all deliverables meet contractual requirements
  • Oversee multiple task orders for training course development, updates, and delivery

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or scientific field, or in technical project management
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in:
    • Leading and supervising teams on projects
    • Managing contracts
    • Managing personnel with various work assignments

Desired: 

  • Experience with federal government contracts
  • Background in training development or educational services
  • Familiarity with transportation/highway engineering topics
