FWI is building a team to provide expert strategic communications support services to the Defense Health Agency Research & Development - Medical Research and Development Command. As a Visual Communication & Multimedia Specialist, you will provide professional photography, videography, and multimedia production expertise in creating compelling visual content that highlights the command's research initiatives across multiple platforms and enhances public engagement with military medical innovations.

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD.

• Generate topic-centric videos for multiple formats (PowerPoint, YouTube, trade shows, website)
• Capture and edit high-quality photographs at official events
• Conduct photo editing and selection for articles and social media
• Capture high-quality headshots for senior leaders and command team
• Film and edit compelling videos with timely delivery
• Conduct video interviews with subject matter experts
• Capture B-roll footage from visits, events, and scenarios
• Propose new content ideas highlighting research initiatives
• Maintain internal catalog of video content
• Populate social media sites with militarily relevant content

Required: 

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional photography and videography experience
• Experience creating multimedia products including video and social media content
• Video editing proficiency
• Creative storytelling abilities
