FWI is building a team to provide highly skilled information technology engineering subject-matter expert support services to support, implement, operate, maintain, and enhance the technologies within the IRS Enterprise Operations (EOPS) Network Engineering business unit. As a Cloud Engineer, you will support multi-cloud environment initiatives, managing cloud architecture, implementation, and Infrastructure as Code deployments across public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms.

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday,8am to 5pm at the IRS ECC office in Ogden, UT.

• Provide Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployments, updates, and maintenance of cloud environments
• Support on-boarding and migrations of projects/applications in cloud environments
• Manage IPv6 implementation with multi-cloud deployments
• Provide engineering support within IRS's multiple cloud service providers
• Implement cloud security measures and ensure compliance with federal requirements
• Optimize cloud hosting infrastructures using virtualization, automation, and orchestration technologies

Required: 

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect OR VoIP or Wireless certifications
• Minimum of five years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation
• Proven expertise in managing and deploying cloud-based systems across public, private, and hybrid environments
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with cloud security, cost optimization, and high availability architectures
