Overview

FWI is building a team to develop a comprehensive portfolio of content and resources for the Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) Staff and other collaborative stakeholders to develop efficient and effective regulations for BSEE. As a Program Manager you will be responsible for all contractor work performed under this contract and serve as the single point of contact for the BSEE Rulemaking Process technical lead.

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the development of:

    • BSEE Rulemaking Handbook
    • Rulemaking support materials (templates, presentations, timelines, checklists, diagrams, flow charts)
    • Briefing papers and monthly status reports
    • Project management tools and pre-formatted templates
  • Serve as single point of contact for the BSEE Rulemaking Process technical lead
  • Coordinate with BSEE staff and stakeholders
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables
  • Maintain highest ethical standards and professional integrity

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Documented project management experience of similar size, scope, and complexity OR an accredited Project Manager Certification
  • Experience supporting executive level clients or management with at least one year of experience with executive level interaction
  • Expert communicator both written and verbal
  • Technical writing experience
  • Ability to prepare correspondence, operate a copy machine, scanner, camera, and maintain a filing system
  • Willing to use and recommend project management platforms supported by BSEE Information Technology governance (e.g., Microsoft TEAMS Planner Application)

 

Desired: 

  • Familiarity with the offshore oil and gas industry, particularly for the United States Outer Continental Shelf is highly desired
  • Work experience related to relevant executive orders, guidance, policies, analyses and statutes for the development of regulations
  • Experience with regulatory impact analyses, small business impacts, socioeconomic, environmental impacts, and cost-benefit analyses
