Senior AEM Forms Developer

Overview

FWI is building a team to provide forms support services including creation, maintenance, and review of approximately 100 public use forms and 160+ internal use forms for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), while implementing innovative technology solutions. As a Senior AEM Forms Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain USCIS forms using Adobe AEM while ensuring 508 compliance and providing senior-level technical expertise for form development initiatives.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional work onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

 

  • Confer with form users to gather recommendations for improvements
  • Consider form characteristics including necessity, completeness, design, text, and specifications
  • Analyze programming requests and participate in design, development, and implementation of solutions
  • Provide senior level development expertise to oversee design and development of new or modified forms
  • Make changes according to client specifications
  • Provide senior level programming for client forms
  • Ensure forms meet 508 compliance requirements
  • Develop forms compatible with multi-browser environments
  • Create adaptive and responsive forms using AEM Designer

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, related technical field, or relevant work experience
  • Minimum 20 years of form developing experience
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe AEM Forms and AEM Designer
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign
  • Strong understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements
  • Knowledge of form scripting and dynamic form capabilities
  • Experience with Reader Extension technology
  • Familiarity with PDF forms and fillable form creation
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS security clearance
