Overview

FWI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple research and policy analysis projects supporting the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commision (MACPAC).

This position requires expertise in managing complex healthcare policy research projects, with a focus on Medicaid and State Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) issues.

**Position is contingent upon contract award**

 

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide day-to-day management of multiple concurrent research projects and direct project staff
  • Oversee task order assignments and ensure successful completion within required timeframes
  • Manage changing priorities and ensure timely action on all deliverables
  • Coordinate with MACPAC staff to maintain effective communication and regular project updates
  • Oversee quality control and assurance for all task order deliverables
  • Manage subcontractors and consultants, ensuring their work is effectively integrated into projects
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or problems on task order projects
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and performance standards
  • Maintain accountability for project costs, schedules, and deliverables

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience researching Medicaid or CHIP issues
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing contracts involving multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action
  • Deep understanding of Medicaid and CHIP policy at federal and state levels
  • Proven track record managing large-scale healthcare policy research projects
  • Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated use of project management tools
  • Experience with 508 compliance for accessible documents
  • Proficiency in data security protocols for sensitive healthcare information
  • Familiarity with research methodologies including surveys, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis
  • Experience working with federal and state government contracts preferred
