The Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing, editing, and refining high-quality scripts for video and multimedia content supporting the Office for Victims of Crime’s (OVC) initiatives. This role requires strong storytelling skills, the ability to translate complex topics into engaging, audience-appropriate narratives, and expertise in script editing, formatting, and transcription.
The writer will collaborate closely with producers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure scripts align with OVC’s mission while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and accessibility in compliance with Section 508 standards. This position plays a key role in producing impactful content for key OVC events, including National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), helping to raise awareness and educate audiences on victims' rights and services.
Work Schedule and Location:
Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday.
