FedWriters is building a team to support NAVSEA's communications and public affairs operations at the Washington Navy Yard. In this role, you will provide executive-level writing and editorial support for high-priority communications.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm at the Washington Navy Yard, 1333 Isaac Hull Avenue, Washington, DC. 

• Develop strategic communications for Members of Congress, Department of Defense, Chief of Naval Operations, and NAVSEA Leadership
• Quickly produce polished, error-free content under tight deadlines
• Consult with staff to ensure information accuracy in time-sensitive materials
• Provide authoritative guidance on editorial matters during surge operations

Required Qualifications;

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in defense acquisition or other federal appropriation/authorization matters
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field
• Demonstrated ability to write at the executive level for high-ranking officials
