FedWriters is building a team to mature, operate, maintain and enhance the United States Security and Exchange Commission's (SEC) production OIT AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) Tech Foundation and its hosted production pilot products, implement AIML governance services, and establish model metrics evaluation and risk management frameworks. In this role you will architect and oversee the technical implementation of AI/ML solutions while leading development teams in building and maintaining scalable machine learning systems using AWS services like SageMaker, Bedrock, and other FedRAMP-authorized tools.

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional onsite work in Washington, DC.

• Lead technical implementation of AIML tech foundation, focusing on scalability and integration with AWS services
• Oversee model deployment, continuous monitoring, and evaluation management
• Direct development teams in implementing natural language processing technologies and algorithms
• Guide integration of AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and other AIML services
• Lead technical assessments and bench-mark testing of AIML services
• Supervise implementation of model metrics evaluation and risk management frameworks

• 12 months experience in similar role within past 3 years 
• SEC domain experience preferred
