Overview

FedWriters is building a team to provide website support services (WSS) for the Department of State. As a Program Manager, you will oversee the delivery of web support services while ensuring compliance with DoS security requirements and managing client relationships.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

 

Work Schedule and Location:


On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm in Washington, DC.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and manage the delivery of website support services for the Department of State
  • Ensure compliance with security requirements including DoS cybersecurity supply chain risk management protocols
  • Oversee contractor personnel security clearance requirements and maintain facility security standards per DD Form 254
  • Interface with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and other key stakeholders
  • Manage contract deliverables, reporting, and performance metrics
  • Direct team activities in accordance with DoS policies and contractual requirements
  • Monitor and control contract budgets and resources
  • Coordinate with Facility Security Officer (FSO) regarding security incidents and compliance
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices and required documentation
  • Oversee OpenNet connectivity requirements and system security protocols

 

Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 15 years of Program Management experience with programs of similar value, size, and/or scope
  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance 
  • PMP Certification
  • High proficiency developing contract deliverables and executive-level presentations/documents

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2 years of Consular Affairs experience 
  • 3 years managing Agile software development projects 
  • 3 years managing deployment and training tasks 
  • Demonstrated experience with SDLC process and SAFe Agile principles/methodologies
  • Technical writing experience
