Overview

FedWriters is a professional communication and analysis firm that helps government and commercial organizations develop a range of products including proposals, technical reports, interactive forms, training materials, regulatory documents, clinical reports, marketing materials, user manuals, engineering documents, and multimedia content.

 

The HUMINT Specialist shall develop a series of historical case studies and lessons learned that support the agency's HUMINT instruction and contribute important history to the workforce regarding some of the agency's most important missions. Practical experience in HUMINT collection, collection management, and requirements is required.

 

Additional duties supporting the administration of the DIA Museum, responding to requests for DIA Museum tours, accession and storage of artifacts, reporting significant History branch events in the reporting system, maintaining digital file storage, and general office support.

 

The mission of the Historical Branch (HSTB) is to conduct research and analysis in support of the agency's mission, to promote historical awareness among the workforce, to develop and preserve the agency's institutional memory, provide histories of vital lessons learned, and oversee the development and fabrication of the agency museum. In support of this mission, HSTB:

Responsibilities

The HUMINT Specialist responsibilities include the following:


Conduct interviews of current and retired DO personnel, study DO capabilities and practices, research other Intelligence Community efforts, and conduct extensive open source research on activities relevant to DO. Translate these efforts into practical lessons learned, best practices, and clearly articulate DO success stories and failures.

 

The administrative duties include the following:

  • Assisting with information collection
  • Coordinating tasks with OCC units
  • Entering details of key History branch events on OCC Sharepoint reporting system
  • Sorting and placing digital files in appropriate folders
  • Responding to museum tour inquiries
  • Assisting with artifact accession and storage
  • Sharing feedback with museum docents to improve museum tour experience
  • Performing administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience supporting HUMINT analysis (military experience preferred)
  • Experience in office management
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  •
